It began in 1945 in Prato, when Mario Marini and Enzo Cecconi founded the wool mill of the same name. Since its inception, the company has created fine fabrics, without ever losing pace with the times. The third generation of the company has made Marini&Cecconi an even larger family together with a highly specialized technical-stylistic staff, including under the name of the Marini Industrie group - in addition to the historic brand - also the Ospiti del Mondo and Marini Tessuti Uomo and Assotex brands.
