The tour starts from the restored city slaughterhouses, headquarters of Officina Giovani, a multifunctional space for exhibitions, concerts and shows. Not far away, you will find the buildings of the Former Lucchesi Wool Mill and the Marco Lucchesi "Vivere in Tessuto" company, with contemporary art exhibitions and a historical archive. Both are adjacent to the ancient fourteenth-century walls.

Visit the Campolmi complex, home of the Textile Museum, with the largest national textile collection. The museum is located in the former Cimatoria Campolmi, an example of industrial archaeology.

Along Viale Galilei, you will find the former Calamai's Sons Wool Mill, now a student residence. This 1924-31 building was one of the largest textile mills in the area, which now houses a DEM mural along the avenue.
