A very long story The evolution of the human being represented in a masterpiece by the street artist BLU

A Very Long Story is an amazing mural created in 2006 by the Italian street artist BLU and is located in the underpass leading to Viale Galilei, near the Serraglio station. BLU is one of the most internationally appreciated street art artists, and his work represents a true visual story of the evolution of the human being.

Through the mural, BLU shows the progress of humanity, starting from the first microorganisms up to man in his current state. The artist does not hesitate to include a veiled criticism of contemporary society, representing the last human beings of the work with weapons and rifles, symbols of conflict and violence.

The mural has suffered the wear and tear of smog and the passage of time, but this is part of BLU's original intention. In compliance with the logic of street art, the artist chose not to restore the work, since his very conception envisaged progressive deterioration.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit Prato and admire this incredible example of mural art.
