Italian Museum of Planetary Sciences A journey to discover the universe and the origins of the Earth
The Italian Museum of Planetary Science boasts a rich collection of meteorites and impact rocks, displaying 120 extraordinary specimens, including the metallic Nantan meteorite. With its 272 kg, it is the largest in Italy and the only one that can be touched freely, offering you a unique and rare experience. You will also be able to admire a splendid collection of minerals, which includes 130 samples of the 4100 present, including a notable specimen of topaz.
The museum itinerary is enriched by 17 interactive multimedia stations and the "quadrisphere" room, where a game of mirrors and a multiple projection will guide you through sounds and images, telling you about the events ranging from the formation of the Universe and the Solar System up to the appearance of life on our planet.
