The Park dedicated to Quinto Martini: a dialogue between art, nature and community.

The park dedicated to Quinto Martini, renowned sculptor and painter born in Seano and influenced by the art of Ardengo Soffici, his teacher and friend, represents an artistic excellence in its context. Designed by architect Ettore Chelazzi, the park covers a green area of over 30,000 square meters along the scenic course of the Furba stream.

Opened in 1988, this park stands out as one of the most prestigious open-air sculpture complexes in Europe dedicated to a single artist. In the park there are 36 bronze statues and bas-reliefs, personally donated by the artist, arranged on large green flowerbeds between gravel paths. The works represent farm animals and people in everyday scenarios, such as a man sheltering from the rain with a piece of cardboard on his head or a woman looking out of a shutter. But we also find representations of wild boar hunting and a pair of geese. These sculptures speak to us directly and without artifice, creating harmony with the surrounding hilly environment that transmits peace and quiet. Quinto Martini's work embodies the deep bond with his land of origin and reflects his idea of art as a civil commitment and continuous dialogue with the territory, its history and its inhabitants. The Park dedicated to Quinto Martini thus represents a precious testimony of this lasting connection between art, nature and community.
